Sony announces taking out of production the DXC-D50 camcorders

 Professional DXC-D50 camcorders:

DXC-D50PH
DXC-D50PK
DXC-D50PL
DXC-D50WSPL

 Will be taken out of production in the middle of April 2007. The orders, placed earlier will be shipped according to the standard schedule. New orders on the abovementioned models are not accepted since  April 18, 2007.
Recommended replacement:

DXC-D55PH, DXC-D55PK, DXC-D55PL, DXC-D55WSPL, DXC-D55WSPH

The list of options for DXC-D55 models remains the same as for the model DXC-D50
